私たちの日常は、趣味嗜好から政治的な関心に至るまで、SNSのアルゴリズムの影響を大きく受けています。そうした現代的な感覚は、以前から画題として関心を持ってきたテーマの一つです。
本作では、そのアルゴリズムを、物語『不思議の国のアリス』において主人公を導く白うさぎになぞらえるという発想から出発しました。不可解な力に導かれながら進んでいく感覚を、タロットカードとも重ねて表現しています
Our daily lives are heavily influenced by social media algorithms, from our hobbies and preferences to our political interests. This modern sensibility has long been a theme that I've been interested in as a subject for my art.
In this work, I started with the idea of likening that algorithm to the White Rabbit who guides the protagonist in the story of "Alice in Wonderland." I also expressed the feeling of being guided by an inexplicable force by drawing parallels with tarot cards.
