This figure emerged from a process of
thinking about identity.
In contemporary life, the self does not settle
into a single form,
but continues to shift through roles and
relationships.
The work adopts the image of becoming
one’s own detective,
turning attention toward other facets that lie behind convenient self-narratives.
Rather than presenting a completed image of the self,
the work holds the process of a subject that continues to question.
