2020年に東京で開催されたグループ展出品作のためのデッサンです。二人の女性をモチーフに、現代における自己認識やアイデンティティの複雑さを表現しています。片方の頭部をルービックキューブに見立てた作品です。

“The Puzzle Called Human” (Drawing)

A preparatory drawing for a work exhibited in a group exhibition in Tokyo in 2020. I often depict pairs of women, and this work is one such example. It explores contemporary ideas of selfhood and identity, with one figure’s head represented as a Rubik’s Cube—a visual metaphor for the complexity of human identity.
