2025年に東京で開催した個展出品作のためのデッサンです。ポピュリズムとアイドルというモチーフは以前から扱っていましたが、本作では油彩作品へと展開しました。虚像として消費されるアイドルの存在に関心を寄せています。

“Anyway,It’s the Nation-State” (Drawing)

A preparatory drawing for a work exhibited in my 2025 solo exhibition in Tokyo. I had previously explored themes of populism and idol culture in pen drawings, but this work developed those ideas into an oil painting. I am particularly interested in idols as constructed images and social projections.
